Cat Nose Print Jewellery

Cat jewellery made from your own cat’s nose print. Traced by hand from a close-up photo and engraved in silver, so the tiny pattern on that pink (or black, or freckled) nose is yours to keep.

Cat jewellery that is actually about your cat

Most cat jewellery is a generic silhouette: ears, a tail, a paw. A cat’s nose print is different. The little ridges and bumps on the nose leather form a pattern that belongs to one cat only, a bit like a fingerprint. We trace that pattern by hand from your photo and engrave it, so the piece could only ever be yours.

Getting a photo of a cat’s nose

Cats are less patient than dogs, and their noses are smaller, so a few tricks help:

  • Wait for a nap. A sleepy cat in a sunny spot is the easiest subject you will ever have.
  • Use daylight, not flash. Flash flattens the texture we need to trace.
  • Get close, then crop. Tap to focus on the nose and take several shots. Send us the sharpest two or three.
  • Dark noses are fine. Side light from a window shows the texture on black and tabby noses well.

Our nose print photo guide was written with dogs in mind, but every step works for cats too. If your photo is not clear enough, we will tell you before anything is made.

Rings, pendants and bracelets for cat people

Cat memorial jewellery

Many of our cat pieces are made after a cat has passed. Old phone photos often work if the nose is in focus, and you can add a name or dates on the back of the pendant. If you are looking for other ways to remember them, our guide to pet memorial ideas has a section just for cats, and our pet memorial jewellery page explains how we work from older photos.

A gift for a cat lover

Because it needs a photo of their cat, this works best as a gift you plan with someone in the household, or as a gift card-style surprise where they send the photo later. There are more ideas in our list of gifts for cat lovers.

Questions, answered

Do cats have unique nose prints?
Yes. The texture of a cat’s nose leather forms a pattern of ridges and bumps that is individual to each cat, much like a human fingerprint.
Can you make cat jewellery from a phone photo?
Yes. A close, sharp photo in daylight is usually enough. Send a few and we will pick the clearest, or tell you if it will not engrave well.
My cat will not sit still. Any tips?
Photograph them while they nap in natural light, take a burst of shots, and send us the sharpest. You can also tick the option to email the photo after checkout.
Can I order for a cat who has passed away?
Yes. Old photos often work if the nose is in focus. We check every photo and email you before engraving.
Which piece suits a cat nose print best?
All of them. The cat ring is scaled for a smaller nose, and the pendant can carry a name on the back.
