How to take a good nose photo

Use daylight near a window. Turn the flash off.

Get close so the nose fills most of the frame, and tap the screen to focus on it.

Shoot straight on. Take a few and send the sharpest one.

An ink print on white paper also works. Use a non-toxic, water-based ink pad.

About the finishes

Platinum plating over 925 sterling silver resists tarnish much better than uncoated silver, so it suits everyday wear. Silver-plated copper is lighter on the budget and best kept as a keepsake worn now and then. Take any piece off for swimming and cleaning products, and wipe it with the polishing cloth to keep it bright.

How do you get my dog's nose print onto the ring?

Upload a clear close-up photo of your dog's nose, or an ink print on white paper, on this page. Our jewellers trace the ridges from your image and hand-engrave them onto the band. Within 24 hours we email you a proof of your print and details, and nothing is engraved until you approve it.

What is the difference between the three ring styles?

Silver-Plated Copper (A$259) is a copper band with a silver finish and fits 46 to 58 mm inner circumference; it suits a keepsake worn now and then. The Platinum-Plated 925 Silver Open Ring (A$359) is adjustable from 46 to 65 mm.
